Our Tenets Of Faith

ICC Kerarapon is a congregation of the Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG). As a denomination,
doctrinally, the church emphasizes individuals making a personal commitment to Christ, believers entering into water baptism, place of faith in divine healing, emphasis on the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ. The Bible is recognized as the inspired word of God and provides the rule for faith and practice.

We Believe...

We believe that the Bible is considered inspired by God and serves as a source of divine revelation, outlining His design and plan for humanity.

We believe that the Trinity refers to the belief in one true God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is both fully human and fully divine, being God’s Son and the Savior of mankind.

We believe that the Fall of Man introduced evil and death, both physically and spiritually, into the world, affecting all of humanity.

We believe that Man’s redemption is possible through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and one can be saved by accepting Him as their Savior.

We  practices two ordinances: Water Baptism by Immersion symbolizing repentance and Holy Communion symbolizing Christ’s sacrifice.

We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is available to all believers and empowers them for witnessing and effective service, as seen in the New Testament.

‘Speaking in Tongues’ was the initial physical evidence experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout Acts and the Epistles.

We believe that Sanctification is an act of separating from evil and dedicating oneself to God, representing a holy and transformed life.

Our mission is to seek and save all who are lost in sin by sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The leadership ministry serves the Church by providing guidance, spiritual direction, and stewardship of its affairs according to scriptural principles.

Yes, divine healing is considered a privilege for Christians today, and it is available to those who believe in the power of God’s healing.

The Blessed Hope refers to the Rapture of the Church, where believers will be caught up to meet Jesus Christ before His return to earth.

The Millennial Reign of Christ is a thousand-year period when Jesus returns with His saints to reign on earth, establishing peace and righteousness.

Yes, there will be a final judgment for those who reject Christ, where they will be held accountable for their actions and decisions.

The New Heavens and New Earth represent a future realm that Christ is preparing for all people who have accepted Him, offering eternal life and peace.
